I'm no expert but from what little shared, James Taylor's family was also upper class with his family being mostly doctors from the Carolinas. Don't know if JT was raised by a nanny as well but wouldn't surprise. Both are supremely talented and intellectual. Very different but in some ways very much alike. World is a much better place with the two of them in it. Over fifty years of beautiful music making from two beautiful souls. Carly's rich voice is so unique and while JT comes off as more cold he's a good Dude.

Carly Simon has always been one of my favorite recording artists. In this video not only can you hear this amazing song, you can see how she was at the peak of her beauty and just how alive she was. The music and the emotions are so powerful and wonderful and engaging, and sometimes I think she gets overlooked because she didn’t really do a lot of tours. She had stage fright and I think that some people don’t even know how amazing she is or 🎉that this song was awesome. I’m just thrilled that this video exists on UA-cam so I can look at it whenever I want to and remember how amazingly fantastic she was in her heyday.
